What??........Whataburger

One of our goals while on vacation is to not eat at a restaurant that we have at home. However, when traveling to Houston we needed a "quick" lunch becuase we wanted to spend as much time as we could at the Space Center.  Just like the billboards say "Texas is a Whataburger State". 

It is your typical fast food burger joint with a few "extras" that those "other" guys don't have. For example the Spicy Ketchup and fresh japalenos.

Ellie had your run of the mill chicken strips, fries & a root beer shake. While, Russell and I both had burgers.....his a japeleno chedder and mine a sweet & spicy burger (bacon, griiled onion & a BBQ sauce). 

To be honest, we weren't expecting much but we came away pretty satisfied with what we had. Oh...and their sweet tea is DELISH.....gotta love the south and their sweet tea!!! 😀
